Danny Ray Mason, Sr ., 72, of Wills Point, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017, at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Mr. Mason was born July 29, 1944, in Greenville, Texas, to Daniel M. Mason, Sr. and Loretta Jewell Briggs-Titus. He married Cindy Carboni on May 8, 1995, in Greenville. He was a retired Dallas County Deputy Constable, and a veteran of the United States Army.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy Mason, of Wills Point; the mother of his children, Linda Cates-Mason-Smith; daughter, Dusty Lynn Mason-Norris; son, Danny Mason, Jr. and wife, Dana; step-son, Rocky Huckabee and wife Mandy; step-daughter, Natasha Hammit and husband Chad; sisters, Rene Chipres and husband Ron, Dwon Blevins and husband, Glendall; step-sisters Anne Holman and husband John, Carolyn Wilson and husband Bill; brothers Tracy Titus and wife Tiffany, Tony Titus and wife Michelle, Steve Titus, Dean Mason and wife Denise, Dale Mason and wife Karen; step-brother Jimmy Hamrick and wife Bonnie; grandchildren Christopher Ray Mason and wife Ashlei, Jessica Burris and husband Randall; step-grandchildren, Dawson Huckabee, Bayley Kumpf, Pressley Kumpf, Chase Hammit, and Ashtyn Hammit; great-grandchildren, Hazlei Raye Mason, Piercen Scott Burris, and Oaklee Gray Burris; uncle, Don Mason and wife Beverley as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Polly Mason; grandparents, Walter Mason and Tommie Mason, Lester Briggs and Etta Kuhn-Briggs; brother, Daniel Mason, Jr.; step-brother Glen Hamrick; niece, Dana Rene Crowther; nephew, James Wesley Walker; and his best "fur" friend, Bitty.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 3:00PM at the Quinlan Funeral home. Visitation will be Friday evening, January 20, 2017 at 6:00 to 9:00 In the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home.
