Creda Davis

Creda Winters Davis passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Greenville. She was born on September 14, 1948 in Greenville the daughter of James Rollin and Ruby Lucille (Porter) Winters. She married Raymond Davis on June 15, 1967 in Quinlan. He preceded Creda in death in May of 2015. She retired as a proofreader for the Quinlan Tawakoni News.

Those left to cherish Creda’s memory are her daughter, Melissa Davis Klimmer; son, Buddy Eugene Davis; grandchildren, Melissa Lancaster Martinez, Brian Mathew Story (Tiffany), Declan Klimmer, and Conall Klimmer; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, David, Haylee, and Kali Martinez, and Elliot and Avery Story; sisters, Ann Bruner (Bill) and Glenda Peña (Santiago; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Creda was also preceded in death by her son, James Dean Davis; and sisters, Lynn Morgan and Lucette Stringer.

Service will be planned at a later time.
