Clyde Phillips

Clyde Allen Phillips, 70, resident of Quinlan, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Plano Texas. He was born on March 29, 1941 in Moorhead, Mississippi and is the son of Clyde Phillips and Alice Earlene Springer-Phillips. His music, friendship, and laughter will be missed by all. He is survived by his son, Melvin Phillips and grandson Joshua Phillips of Texas; other family members are Ann Ward and husband Mike of Quinlan; grand children, Angie Nassar and husband Charlie of Quinlan, April Shirley and husband Jeremy of Frisco, Chris Tanner of San Marcos, Ashley Ebbert and husband Chad of Wichita Kansas, Jamie Ward of Wichita Kansas; 2 sisters, Joann Noah of Fort Worth, Alice Faye Berryhill of Mississippi; 3 brothers, Bill Phillips of Memphis Tenn. Robert Phillips of Grand Prairie, Jerry Phillips and wife Cathy of Alvarado; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Linda Gayle Phillips. His funeral service will be Saturday, May 21, at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bob Ferguson officiating.
