CT Miller

December 28, 1946 — April 16, 2026

Quinlan

Charles Thomas Miller, better known as “CT”, a loving husband and resident of Quinlan, TX, passed away on April 16, 2026 at the age of 79.

CT is survived by his wife Barbara K. Miller, daughter LaTanya Powell and husband Alan Powell, daughter TraMonica Snowden and husband Ted Snowden, grandchildren Victoria Jones and husband Harrison Jones, Kele Gonzales, Christian Rodriguez and Fiancé Mercedes and their son Silas, Daphne Aaron, Kaitlyn Powell, Joshua Aaron, Corbin Powell, and Bethany Snowden.

CT was born on December 28, 1946 in New Orleans, LA to Benjamin Charles Miller and Theora Marie LaDoux. CT attended school in New Orleans and joined the US Army followed by the US Merchant Marines. CT became a computer programmer, where he would be a part of writing the first program supporting the ATM network in the State of Texas. CT’s career took him on adventures all around the world including “top secret” jobs, that stayed a mystery. Along with traveling for work, he and his family took many adventures of their own. He was a master diver and enjoyed every second he spent on or in the water, especially when he was surrounded by the smiles of his family and friends.

CT married his wife Barbara on March 12, 1988 at Chapel of the Bells in Dallas, TX. They remained happily married for 38 years. CT and Barbara moved to Seagoville, TX in 1990, where they raised their daughters. CT was a founding member of New Life Fellowship church in Dallas and later joined the sound team at Family Cathedral of Praise in Mesquite. CT was a charter member of the Seagoville Sunset Lions Club, a passion driven by the love he had for his Granddaughter Kele and the drive to give her the best life possible. He became Vice President and was very active with the Lions Sight and Tissue Foundation-Mobile eye clinic for many years.

CT’s legacy was most definitely his family. He was a father figure to so many, including friends of his daughters and then later in life, his grandchildren’s as well. He made sure every girl on the cheer team had mums and even taught a few to drive. He was a stand-in father figure and role model for so many. CT and Barbara retired to their lake house in Quinlan in 2019 where he spent his last years happy, loved, and proud of the wonderful and accomplished life he had led. CT and Barbara became members of Generation Faith Center where they were welcomed with open arms and treated like family. CT will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

CT’s Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1pm on May 1, 2026 at Quinlan Funeral Home. His Pastor, Casey Stone of Generation Faith Center, will officiate the service. Thank you for joining us (whether it be in person or through spirit) as we celebrate the life of such an amazing man who will be truly missed and cherished forever.
