Brenda Book

Funeral service for Brenda Lee (Pinson) Book, age 76, of Denton will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas with Byron Earnest officiating and Rocky Pinson, Kerry Collins, Danny Phifer, Colton Earnest, Jeremy LaBelle, and David Gilbreath serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Book passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Flower Mound.

Brenda was born on November 26, 1945 in Dallas, TX to Floyd Lee Pinson, Sr. and Nealie Bell (Guinn) Pinson. She married Jimmy Wayne Book September 22, 1964, in Garland. She was a wife, mom, and grandmaw who enjoyed cooking, singing, and drawing.

She is survived by her sisters, Donna Lynn and husband Byron Earnest of Waxahachie, Susan Pinson of Emory; daughter, Kelli Jean and husband Shawn Anderson of Denton; granddaughters, Haylee Sky and Alyssa Rayne of Denton; nephews, Kenneth Collins, Jr., Kerry Collins, Rocky Pinson, Jay Beatte, Jr., Joshua Eldred, Colton Earnest; nieces, Kristy Lassiter, Kami Bradley, Kimberly Moore, Stacy Ordgone, Sarah Gilbreath, Lauren Earnest; and many beloved cousins.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy; parents, Floyd and Nealie; sisters, Jeanie Collins, Carla Sue Hood; brother, Buzzy (Floyd Lee, Jr.) Pinson.
