Bobby Ray Ebarb

Bobby Ray Ebarb, age 63, of Mesquite, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 19, 1963 in Converse, Louisiana to Joseph and Georgia Marie (Dunn) Ebarb.

Bobby Ebarb will be remembered as a free spirit with a love for motorcycles, music, old Westerns, and living life in his own way.

At the age of 16, Bobby was involved in a severe motorcycle accident that forever changed the course of his life. The injuries he suffered created challenges that followed him into adulthood and made many of life’s simple pleasures more difficult. Even so, Bobby remained uniquely himself, independent in spirit and drawn to the things that brought him happiness.

Motorcycles always held a special place in Bobby’s heart, as did music and the old Western movies that could transport him to another time and place. He never married or had children, but his life was surrounded by family who loved him and will carry his memory with them.

Bobby is survived by his father, Joe Ebarb; his Aunt Rita McComic, his uncle and aunt, Ricky and Cindy Dunn, his uncle and aunt John and Joy Solis, his aunt, Dorothy Womack; his niece and nephew, Cory Lamb and Cally; and his cousins, Pam and Wade Womack, Misti Cifuentes, Paige Dunn, Spanky Solis, and Dusty Solis.

Bobby’s journey through life was not always an easy one, but he walked it in his own way. Those who knew him will remember his free spirit, the things he loved, and the place he will always hold in the hearts of his family.

May he now find the peace, freedom, and open road that life so often made difficult for him to enjoy.

A funeral service for Bobby will be held at Quinlan Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 10:00 am.
