Bobbie Jean Harman, 83, of East Tawakoni passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Rowlett. Bobbie was born in Mansfield, Louisiana on August 9, 1933 the daughter of John Wesley Boyett and Eugenie (Vallery) Boyett. She was the 9th out of 11 children. She married Stanley Darius Harman, Jr. and he preceded her in death. Bobbie was very civic minded and involved in the East Tawakoni community serving two terms as Mayor, several terms on the city council, helping on fundraisers for the fire department, and being a member of the Lioness Club.

She is also preceded in her death by her parents, John and Eugenie Boyett; one son, Ronald Wayne Harman; and a grandson, Joshua Austin Harman.

Her family that is cherishing the memories of Bobbie's life are her daughter, Denise Harman Baisley and her husband Bob of Pflugerville; two sons, Richard Allen Harman and Roger William Harman both of Tomball; grandchildren, Monica Dee Story, Casey Lynn Harman, Thomas Harman, Cody Harman, and Colton Harman; great grandchildren, Hanna Dee Story, Bradley Holt Story, and Ashton Harman; two sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
