Bobbie Joyce Chambliss

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bobbie Joyce Chambliss, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend on March 19, 2026, at the age of 93.

Bobbie is survived by daughters Kathy Wrenn and husband Doug of Quinlan; Debbie Chambliss-Brown and husband Heath of Point; Diane Ehrhart and husband Pete of Greenville; sons Keith Chambliss and wife Simone of Minneapolis MN; and Monty Chambliss and Missie of Quinlan. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both parents, husband Floyd Chambliss, three brothers, daughter Norma Bottoms, and special best friend Sonny  Sampson.

Bobbie was born September 12, 1932 in Farmersville, TX to Delbert and Geneva (Crump) Wolfe. She spent all her school years through graduation in Merit TX.

She was an excellent seamstress which was her occupation most of her life, and she worked until she was age 83. Being an avid animal lover she always had cats and dogs since early childhood. They brought her great happiness and she took no shortcuts in caring for them. But her pride and joy was her family who she was totally devoted to and loved very much. She was always there for each and every one. She touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Thursday, March 26, at Quinlan Funeral Home, with visitation at 1:00. Burial will be at Merit Cemetery.
