Bessie Duff Calverley, 68, of Wills Point Texas, passed away on August 28, 2011 in her home. Bessie was born on May 2, 1943 in Wellington, Texas, the daughter of Carl and Mattie Yarbrough. Bessie was a ranchers wife and owned the Pet Barn. She also loved Canton First Monday and owned and operated the Beefalo concession stand for many years. Bessie is survived by her husband Tommy Calverley, two sons; Tommy Calverley Jr. and wife Glinda of Sayre, Ok and Leland Calverley and wife Shanna of Wills Point, one daughter; Bonnie Brickey and husband Robert of Wheeler, seven grandchildren; Wade Brickey, Colby Brickey, Terri Quinn, Andrea Lynn, Jaycee Calverley, Antonio Perez, and Rhealee Perez, three great grandchildren; Tatum Quinn, Scout Quinn and Serenity Lynn, two sisters; Doris Kirkland of Shamrock and Trula Davenport and husband Ronnie of Lake Fork, and one brother; Buddy Yarbrough of Como, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mattie Yarbrough and four sisters; Stella Kirkland, Ruby Teer, Patsy Wentworth and Ruth Sissy Love. Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday August 30, 2011 in the Chapel at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas with Brother David Hammond officiating. Visitation with her family will be Monday August 29, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm in the Chapel at Quinlan Funeral Home. Her arrangements were made under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home.
