Benny Smiley

Benny Charles Smiley, 79, resident of Quinlan, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011. He was born on February 9, 1932 in Lone Oak, the son of Floyd Norvell and Hazel Marie (Stucker) Smiley. Benny married Dorothy Lee Riddle. He was a machinist before his retiring and of the Church of Christ Faith. Mr. Smiley is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Ben Smiley and his wife Jeralyn of Plano; grandsons, Timothy and Caleb Smiley of Plano. His funeral service is planned for 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 30, at the funeral home with Wayne Ruff officiating. His burial will follow the service at Hooker Cemetery. All arrangements were made through Quinlan Funeral Home.
