Bennie Aaron Poteet Jr., age 54, of Mesquite Texas passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Mesquite Specialty Hospital in Mesquite. Bennie was born April 24, 1962 in Dallas Texas to Bennie Sr. and Scelena Poteet. He married Tempie Ellis on Febrary 21, 1988 in Rowlett Texas. Bennie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
