Bennie Gravitt, Sr.

Bennie Ray Gravitt, 51; passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 15,2014 in Rockwall, Texas. Bennie was born to Ben and Virginia Gravitt on January 23,1963 in Fort Worth, Texas. Bennie met and later married Stephanie Apala. To this union were born twin sons, Bennie Jr. and Bradley. Bennie Ray is preceded in death by his father, Bennie Cleve Gravitt. Those left to celebrate his life include his sons, Bradley James Gravitt and Bennie Ray, Gravitt, Jr. with his fiance, Crystal Ryan; "son" Justin Braley and Jenni with their daughter Nevaeh; brothers Daryl Gravitt and his wife Tammy, Arturo Gutierrez; sister Susan Ybarra; mother, Virginia Gutierrez; nephew; Matthew Clayton and his wife Cassie; nieces, Christin Loftis, Anna Feuerbacher, Katlyn Gravitt, Angela Gravitt, Amber Gravitt, Rhiana Curry, Melinda Grace and her husband Josh, Emily Ybarra and her daughter Dani Gotay; as well as numerous extended family members, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 19,2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
