Amy Armstrong Fincher, 68, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on March 3, 2026.

Amy was born on September 4, 1957 in Tulare, California to Nancy Armstrong and Clarence "Casey" Armstrong. During her childhood, Amy's family moved frequently as her father served in the United States military before eventually settling in Texas.

Amy met the love of her life, Michael Fincher Sr., and the two were married on December 17, 1977. Together they built a life centered on family and raised two children, Tiffany and Michael. In May of 1994, Amy and her husband moved their family to Quinlan, Texas, where they remained for more than 30 years, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Amy dedicated many years of her career to AT&T before retiring. After retirement, she continued working for several years at Wal-Mart.

Above all else, Amy loved her family deeply. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, whose warmth, humor, and encouraging spirit touched everyone around her. She treasured the time spent with her mother and siblings and cherished every moment shared with her children and grandchildren. Her laughter, hugs, and the love she poured into her family created countless treasured memories that will live on in their hearts.

Amy is survived by her mother, Nancy Armstrong; her daughter Tiffany Bickerstaff and husband Jeremy Bickerstaff of Quinlan, Texas; her son Michael Fincher and wife Allison Fincher of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and her beloved grandchildren, Brianna Bickerstaff, Jacob Bickerstaff, Bryson Fincher, Brantley Fincher, and Evelyn Fincher.

She is also survived by her siblings, Kristy Wheeler and husband Sean Wheeler, Robert Armstrong, Jeffery Armstrong, and Gary Armstrong; her nieces and nephews, Megan Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, and Benson Wheeler; along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Amy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Fincher Sr.; her father, Clarence "Casey" Armstrong; her grandmother, Christine Bates Blackmer; and her in-laws, Clovis and Janice Fincher, and Billy Ray and Elaine Tillison.

In accordance with Amy's wishes, she will be cremated and no formal funeral service will be held. Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life on Saturday, March 28 at 12:00 PM at her daughter's house at 2240 Northshore Rd, Quinlan, TX 75474.

Amy's love for her family and the joy she brought to those around her will be remembered always. her loved ones will continue to hold her in their hearts until they are able to see her again.
